On modern iterations of the Onyx RCR, there is a limiting fuse wired inline between the battery and controller. This fuse is known to blow under load when the bike is ridden hard, requiring riders to carry additional fuses. Because of the high quality BMS that Powerful Lithium batteries all include, we are confident the fuse becomes an unnecessary power bottleneck and is no longer a requirement after upgrading to a Powerful Lithium battery. We have successfully installed this 'Fuse Delete Cable' into hundreds of Onyx RCR bikes with combined thousands of miles.
