Refund policy
SECTION 1 - RETURNS
All sales are final once placed through the Powerful Lithium website. If you would like to request an exception based on specific circumstances, please contact us first at info@powerfullithium.com. We reserve the right to deny any request.
Returns will not be accepted if the product has been used or shows any signs of usage. Items must be in brand new, unused condition and in original packaging to be eligible for any return exception.
If an exception is approved, the customer must ship the item(s) back to Powerful Lithium at an address we will provide in advance. A 25% restocking fee will apply to all return requests made more than 24 hours after order placement.
Returns will not be accepted if the return package is damaged during transit by the shipping courier. We strongly recommend insuring the full value of your return items with your courier, if available.
Order cancellation requests may be made within 24 hours of placing an order. Please contact us as soon as possible at info@powerfullithium.com to request a cancellation.
SECTION 2 - REFUNDS
If a refund is issued to a customer by Powerful Lithium, it will ONLY be issued back to the same form of payment used to place the order originally, no exceptions. Refunds are completed by Powerful Lithium within 48 hours of approval, however can take between 7 and 10 business days dependent upon your financial institution.
SECTION 3 - BATTERY WARRANTY
Every battery purchase is warranty protected against failure within the first year of ownership. This covers cell or other component failures. If an issue arises, Powerful Lithium will fix the broken battery within the warranty period, provided the failure falls under the warranty terms. We work with customers on a case-by-case basis to determine the best course of action, after Powerful Lithium has discussed and diagnosed the issue with the customer. This DOES NOT include damage caused by misuse, use in an improper/unintended application, damage from an external factor such as (but not limited to) impact, crash, fire, puncture, etc., water damage in any form, severed cabling, and other factors that do not include a component of the battery failing. We may or may not offer extended warranties that can be purchased alongside your battery. Extended warranties must be purchased at the time of original battery purchase and are not available as an add-on option after your purchase.
Improperly using or handling a lithium-ion battery can be dangerous or LETHAL, resulting in serious injury or DEATH. Please review all safety precautions and documentation prior to using and operating your Powerful Lithium battery. Please have a professional install your battery pack if you are unsure of how to do so yourself. Incorrect installation or use can result in explosion and/or fire, which can cause bodily harm and property damage.
We cover varies best practices and safety precautions, as well as tips for extending the longevity of your Powerful Lithium battery in our 'Help Center'. Please visit there and contact us with any uncertainties or questions prior to making your purchase.
SECTION 4 - NON BATTERY WARRANTY
Non-battery products such as accessories, wiring harnesses, chargers, etc., are tested and quality ensured before they leave our shop. If for some reason, your item is damaged or not working within 48 hours of your receiving the product, we will replace the item after receiving the original back. Powerful Lithium will provide a pre-paid shipping label in this particular case. We may require an explanation of your issue along with photos or videos in advance to troubleshoot the issue before accepting the item back as damaged. Please contact us at info@powerfullithium.com if you believe your item to be defective upon receipt. Otherwise, no warranties are granted for non-battery products sold through Powerful Lithium unless the item explicitly is covered by its own manufacturer warranty.
SECTION 5 - MOTORS AND CONTROLLERS WARRANTY
All motors and controllers are non-returnable, with no returns or exchanges accepted for brand-new motors or controllers under any circumstances. Every motor and controller is tested before shipment to ensure proper functionality. Warranty is valid only if the components are installed by a professional e-bike shop, and claims must be supported with a valid shop receipt, clear installation photos, and screenshots of the tuning process showing time and date stamps from the moment of installation. The warranty does not cover motors or controllers that are scratched, damaged, or physically broken. In the event of a warranty claim, the component must be shipped to Powerful Lithium for inspection and repair, and only if the motor or controller is determined to be non-repairable will a replacement be provided under warranty.
