Note:
The Powerful Lithium Metis battery is capable of delivering up to 270A through the BMS, which is substantially higher than the current capability of the stock Anderson connector configuration.
For this reason, we strongly recommend upgrading the stock Anderson connector to a high-current QS8 connector when installing the Metis battery. A QS8 connector provides a more suitable high-current connection for the discharge capability of this battery.
The easiest and safest way to make this upgrade is to replace the stock power cable connecting the battery to the controller with our QS8 Power Cable, which can be selected as an option when purchasing the battery.
