Overview

This Returns & Shipping page describes how powerfullithium.com (the “Site” or “we”) conducts business in regard to shipping orders as well as policy regarding returns, exchanges, damaged items, etc.

Build to Order Lead Times

Our battery packs are restricted to ground only delivery services through the couriers that Powerful Lithium LLC utilizes. Although some battery packs may be pre-built for immediately available inventory, most of our battery packs are built to order. This is why we include our best estimation for a lead time on each product details page. After we have received your order and your payment, we begin building, testing, and finalizing your battery pack. Upon quality control acceptance, we then prepare your battery pack (and other purchased items if applicable) to withstand regular shipping handling. All tracking numbers for your order are populated in our system, allowing for your order to be tracked every step along the way.

Shipping Costs

Customer will be presented with shipping costs throughout the checkout process before finalizing your order. Shipping rates are generated in real-time based on several factors including total weight of your order as well as packaging dimensions in which your order will be shipped to you.

Shipping Damages

We are NOT liable for damaged caused to the product throughout the shipping process. If an item is to arrive damaged that does not fall under the category of a manufacturer defect, the customer will have to wait for Powerful Lithium to open a case and ultimately file a claim (if required) with the shipping courier before resolving the issue. This can take several days to complete and varies from courier to courier. If you believe that your item was damaged during transit, do not sign for or accept the package upon delivery. Notify the delivery person that your package is damaged, and you'd like to not take delivery of your package, and then contact us at info@powerfullithium.com.

Local Pickup

We can arrange for a local pickup option if you contact us at info@powerfullithium.com prior to placing your order. If no prior arrangement for local pickup is made before finalizing and placing an order, regular shipping terms will apply to your order.

Shipping Delays and Updates

Powerful Lithium essentially has the same visibility into a package route, after it leaves our shop, as the customer does. We strongly recommend contacting the respective shipping courier first to inquire about the status of your package to see if they can assist you first.

Returns

All sales are final once through the Powerful Lithium website. If you would like to ask for an exception to be made based on specific circumstances, please contact us first at info@powerfullithium.com. We reserve the right to deny any request. If an exception is made, the customer will ship the item or items back to Powerful Lithium to an address that we will provide you with in advance. Returns will not be accepted by Powerful Lithium if your return package is damaged during transit by the shipping courier. We strongly recommend insuring the value of your return items with your shipping courier if this is an option.

Order Cancellation

Order cancellation requests can be made within 24 hours of placing an order. Please contact us as soon as possible at info@powerfullithium.com to request a cancellation. We recommend calling during specified business hours noted on our 'Contact Us' page as a means to ensure a timely request.

Refunds

If a refund is issued to a customer by Powerful Lithium, it will ONLY be issued back to the same form of payment used to place the order originally, no exceptions. Refunds are completed by Powerful Lithium within 48 hours of approval, however can take between 7 and 10 business days dependent upon your financial institution.

Battery Warranty

Every battery purchase is warranty protected against failure within the first year of ownership. This protects against cell or other component failure. We will work with the customer on a case by case basis to determine the best case of action based on the specific situation after Powerful Lithium has discussed and diagnosed the issue with the customer. This DOES NOT include damage caused by misuse, use in an improper/unintended application, damage from an external factor such as (but not limited to) impact, crash, fire, puncture, etc., water damage in any form, severed cabling, and other factors that do not include a component of the battery failing. We may or may not offer extended warranties that can be purchased alongside your battery. Extended warranties must be purchased at the time of original battery purchase and are not available as an add-on option after your purchase.

Improperly using or handling a lithium-ion battery can be dangerous or LETHAL, resulting in serious injury or DEATH. Please review all safety precautions and documentation prior to using and operating your Powerful Lithium battery. Please have a professional install your battery pack if you are unsure of how to do so yourself. Incorrect installation or use can result in explosion and/or fire, which can cause bodily harm and property damage.

We cover varies best practices and safety precautions, as well as tips for extending the longevity of your Powerful Lithium battery in our 'Help Center'. Please visit there and contact us with any uncertainties or questions prior to making your purchase.

Non-Battery Warranty

All non-battery products, such as accessories, wiring harnesses, chargers, motors, etc., are tested and quality ensured before they leave our shop. If for some reason, your item is damaged or not working within 48 hours of your receiving the product, or you notice any apparent defects, we will replace the item after receiving the original back. Powerful Lithium will provide a pre-paid shipping label in such a case. We may require an explanation of your issue along with photos or videos in advance to troubleshoot the issue before accepting the item back as damaged. Each claim will be evaluated on an individual basis. Please contact us at info@powerfullithium.com if you believe your item to be defective upon receipt. Otherwise, no warranties are granted for non-battery products sold through Powerful Lithium unless the item explicitly is covered by its own manufacturer warranty or we, Powerful Lithium, state otherwise.

It is of utmost importance to note that upon the installation and use of any products beyond battery packs, including any product with moving parts or other mechanical parts purchased from us, warranty coverage cannot be extended. This exclusion is due to the variability in installation procedures and usage conditions that are beyond our control.

Incorrect installation, misuse, use on non-intended platforms or devices, or abuse of these parts may lead to product failure or damage, which is not indicative of the inherent quality or durability of the product as supplied by us. Hence, any potential issues or damages arising post-installation, that are a result of factors beyond the normal and recommended use, will not be covered under our warranty.

We strongly recommend that all products be installed by a qualified professional to ensure proper installation and function.
